This is what we consider a “Good Karma” gift~
We have taken our vibrant Kantha hand towels from the Asha Project and paired them a Lotus Bar Soap from the master soap makers of the Palam Rural community in India.
The towels are made out of 3 layers of hand-stitched recycled saree material, they are fast drying and oh so soft!
Each a unique item with patches and imperfections that come standard to remade saree products, they bear the patches of a woman who loved them first! Every new stitch in your towel tells the story of a woman who is helping break the cycle of poverty for her family & the community by using her skills.
Each Kantha towel goes through the hands of 3 women and creates 5 hours of work.
The delicate floral Lotus bar soap is handcrafted with nutrient rich plant oils, triple milled for smoothness, vegan and cruelty free, and comes in recycled packaging.
Each bar of soap sends one child to school for one day in the Palam Rural community.
